Prototyping & Production

At the beginning of every innovation the question of serial producibility arises. The answer to this question lies in the HSG-IMIT`s range of services: Based on standard silicon micromachining technology the institute develops processes for the production of micromechanical components and systems. The range of services offered runs from design support and layout to the production of prototypes and even to the transfer of production processes for serial production. For large-scale production the production process is implemented in the customers laboratory or transferred to a commercial manufacturer (foundry). Small-scale production can be run at HSG-IMIT`s cleanroom laboratory after development.
