The Division Sensors and Systems offers different customized solutions in the area of sensors technology and system applications. They develop micro technical solutions for measuring, movement and physical values of objects or media such as humidity or pressure.
Thereby following product attributes are important:

• minimum energy consumption

Our main focus in the Division Sensors and Systems based on multi functional inertial- and thermal sensors. The industrial field of applications among others are:

• building services engineering
• automation technology
• medical technology
• chemical engineering
• process engineering
• automotive engineering

Within the business unit Sensors and Systems we cooperate very closely with the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) at the University of Freiburg – more precisely with the Laboratory for Microelectronic (Prof. Manoli). This strategic partnership enables us to approach the technical topics with a wider range of expertise and with more flexibility.

Its major competence is in the following fields of research:
Low-Voltage/Low-Power Designs, Wireless Communication, Mixed-Signal-Circuits and Energy-Efficient Autonomous Systems.
